Morocco, the gateway to Africa, is an eclectic destination with something for every type of traveller. From sweeping deserts and ancient cities to impressive mountain ranges, Morocco has you covered. The medinas, whether you’re in Marrakech, Fez, Tangier or Chefchaouen, are a treasure trove – these ancient crowded quarters are an assault on the senses, no matter the city. Whether you’re perfecting your haggling skills in the souks, trekking through the Atlas Mountains or visiting Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque, Morocco is a wonderful winter escape.

Most visits to Oman start in the capital city of Muscat, that sits on the northern coast. The city offers stunning views of the Gulf of Oman where visitors are privy to the amalgamation of ancient and modern. From the architectural juxtaposition, to the rugged mountainous backdrop and breath-taking beaches, this city is a must visit. Its rich heritage and strong sense of identity takes pride in Oman’s ancient, frankincense-trading past. After a few days in the capital, head to Misfat al Abryeen, a unique mountainous village, and Masirah Island for beautiful beaches.

With six UNESCO Biosphere reserves, diverse architecture throughout and white sand beaches stretching for miles – Cuba is a country of varied landscapes and culture clashes. In cities and towns from Havana to Santiago de Cuba, you’ll find locals lining the back streets playing dominoes, napping street dogs and school children playing in the roads – Cuba is full of life. The city of Havana will demand you open your senses to a cultural overload – you’ll meet hospitable locals, enjoy Cuban cuisine and find yourself immersed in traditional live music. Spanish colonial architecture is mixed with mid-century American inspiration – and as a country surrounded by Caribbean coast, it makes for an irresistible island escape.
Now you’ve got three more places to add to your bucket list, don’t forget to enter the giveaway on our Instagram page @antlerofficial. Tag and follow away! The winner will be announced on Instagram, on Wednesday 30th October 2019 at 9am.
