With all eyes on the Balearics, we’ve turned our focus to five of the most beautiful hotels in Mallorca , all within easy reach of the coast.
Can Bordoy Grand House & Gardens, Palma

Hotel Esplendido, Port Sóller
The charming seaside town of Port Sóller is cut into the Tramuntana Mountains that run along the north west backbone of Mallorca. Cal Reiet, which is within walking distance of the pretty village of Santanyí, was originally built in 1881 as a family home and has since been gracefully restored. The hotel is just a 20-minute drive away from Es Trenc, one of the best known beaches in Mallorca, famed for its Caribbean blue waters and bright white sand. Perched beside the pretty village of Deià, the atmosphere at La Residencia is incredibly calm and relaxing, with bedrooms styled for the utmost serenity. There are plenty of dining options, whether you choose the laid-back poolside bar or the flickering candlelight and elevated menu of El Olivo. Head to the tiny and charming cove beach of Cala Deià just outside the village, or Es Canyaret, three kilometres away.
